Petunia

Petunia is everything we hoped for in the future of our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel program. Beautiful inside and out, she combines exceptional structure with one of the sweetest personalities we've ever had the privilege of raising.

Smart, playful, and incredibly affectionate, Petunia loves going for car rides, snuggling with her family, and chasing her Australian Shepherd big sister, Nugget, around the yard. She is wonderfully confident and often chooses to curl up in her crate for a nap all on her own, demonstrating the independence and emotional security we value in our breeding dogs.

What truly makes Petunia special is her remarkable nurturing instinct. Even though she hasn't had puppies of her own yet, she naturally helps welcome each new litter and future breeding prospect into our home. She patiently teaches younger puppies how to play appropriately, interact respectfully with other dogs, and build confidence through gentle guidance.

Petunia has already begun her health testing journey with OFA Eye Certification and comprehensive DNA testing. As she reaches one year of age, she'll complete OFA Heart and OFA Patella evaluations before any planned breeding.

Petunia has been carefully selected to become one of the future foundation mothers of our AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeding program. She is planned to be paired with our handsome AKC Champion-line sire, Indy, with the goal of producing healthy, confident AKC Cavaliers that exemplify the breed's loving temperament, correct structure, and exceptional health.

We believe Petunia represents the future of McDoodles of Texas. Her intelligence, gentle spirit, natural nurturing instincts, and quiet confidence make us incredibly excited to watch her grow into the devoted mother we know she'll become.
